View Ad Details Date(s): Oct 23, 09 - Oct 25, 09 Age Level: Minor Peewee (98), Minor Bantam (96) & Minor Midget (94) Category: Tier II - 'A/AA' Peewee, 'AA' Bantam & Midget Number of Teams: 28 teams in total (across all 3 divisions) Games Per Team: 3 Game Minimum (up to 6 depending upon size of division) Format: Teams will participate in THREE (3) round-robin games. Those who qualify will proceed either to quarters or semifinals. Period Lengths: Minor Peewee teams will play 3 x 12 min stop time periods, Minor Bantam teams will play 2 x 12, 1 x 15 min stop time periods, while Minor Midget teams will play 1 x 10, 2 x 15 min stop time periods (with an extra FLOOD). * Championship Game at Minor Midget will be 3 x 15 minute stop time periods. This tournament is for tier II teams (ie. 'A' teams from areas without 'AAA' hockey and 'AA' teams from areas that do have 'AAA' hockey - eg. GTHL, OMHA). All teams MUST be prepared to start as early as 8:00am Friday, October 23rd. NOTE: No teams will be formally accepted until ODMHA sanctioning is received in mid June. Cost: Peewee: $925 CAD; Bantam: $950; Midget: $975 CAD (USD deduct $25) Description: The 5th annual edition of this tournament is presented by the Ottawa Valley Silver Seven Minor Hockey Association and will be headquartered at the state-of-the-art Bell Sensplex, where parents can enjoy the action from the comfort of Stanley's Restaurant above.
