View Ad Details Date(s): Oct 16, 09 - Oct 18, 09 Age Level: Major Midget (1992 & 1993) Category: AAA - Tier I Number of Teams: 16 Teams Games Per Team: 4 Game Minimum (Up to 7 Games) Format: Teams will participate in a minimum of FOUR (4) games. Those who qualify will proceed either to quarters or semifinals. Period Lengths: All round robin and quarterfinal games will consist of 1 x 12, 2 x 15 minute stop time periods with a FLOOD after every two (2) periods. Semifinal and Championship games will consist of 3 x 15 stop time periods, including a FLOOD between 2nd and 3rd period. NOTE: No teams will be formally accepted until ODMHA sanctioning is received in mid June. Cost: $1,042.86 + $52.14 GST = 1,095 CAD ($1,050 USD) Description: This tournament is an ODMHA event (sanction # not yet received), put on by the Ottawa Senators AAA Minor Hockey Association (ZONE 2). The 5th annual edition of this professionally run event will take place at the Bell Sensplex, THE PREMIERE facility in the National Capital Region, and its extremely organized nature will ensure your experience is second to none. Teams will play games on one of 3 NHL & 1 International sized ice surfaces at the Bell Sensplex, while spectators can take in all the action from Stanley's Restaurant, which overlooks the action below. Some teams will also even play games at Scotiabank Place (home of the NHL Ottawa Senators), subject to availability and completion of the 2009-10 NHL schedule.
